Travelling South Africa
| May 2, 2010 | Posted by Lotte under Uncategorized |
Dear all,
The last couple of weeks have been wonderful, travelling through beautiful South Africa, Lesotho and Swaziland. It has been a welcome break from the continuous field research I’ve been doing last year and it was a great chance to spend some time with my sister and friends before I head off again. Travelling these beautiful places created new room for all the field research I’ll be doing this year but it was also a great opportunity to get some work done and finally finish articles I had scheduled. I’ll post them under “Research/Media” once they are published.
My batteries are fully charged again so in about a week I’ll leave for Mozambique to do field research on child soldiers who fought with RENAMO during the war.
I’ll keep you posted on my experiences there but until then I’ll post daily blogs on the issues I’ve come across here, and on child soldier related issues.
I hope you’ll enjoy reading!
